I would highly recommend you stop looking for a photographer for your special occasion, You will find no better person than Jon. We didnt have a photographer for our engagement shoot or wedding we had a friend. The professionalism shown before, during and after our day was second to none.
Add to this the exceptional quality of our wedding album, and the aftercare provided by Jon, which is almost non existent in the world today.
Nothing was too much trouble for him. the way he mixed with our freinds and family and put us all at ease during the day was incredible. I would be more than happy to provide a reference or show you our wedding album.

Quite apart from his eye for a beautiful picture I would say that Jon's best quality as a photographer is making people feel comfortable and at ease. He blended in seemlessly on our special day and acted more like a bone-fide guest than the bossy papparazzi types we had come across a other weddings! I hardly noticed that Jon was around, and yet he was somehow there to capture all the key moments of our day. When I ran downstairs to greet my beloved grandfather (in my dressing gown no less) Jon was behind me. He managed to get a lovely photo of me chatting with my nan, without intruding on a precious moment, he captured beautiful candid shots of our ceremony without us even realising. When a dear friend rang from Afghanistan Jon got pictures of our delighted faces. He even managed to get a relaxed picture of my photo-phobic mum (something we have been trying and failing to do for years!).
Jon took time to understand the style of photography we wanted and what it was important to us that he should capture in his pictures. He met with us before the wedding to find out the names of all our family members and close friends, and to check he knew of any particular shots we wanted. After the wedding he delivered the pictures in person so that we could choose which to include in our album, and came back to deliver our completed album and make sure we were happy with it (which we are!). His pictures really capture every special moment of our wedding. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to other couples.

I want to express my thanks for the wonderful way in which you participated in Matt and Letties' wedding. I can't remember seeing you at the service and yet you have managed some beautiful shots of them, capturing the joy and importance of the occasion. I play trumpet professionally at many weddings and I love being able to add something special to their day. I sense the same attitude in you. You were inobtrusive when it was needed and at other times a joyful participant adding your own special ingredient to the occasion. You were so obviously having a lot of fun yourself! Our 40th Wedding Anniversary – what a wonderful day! We were surrounded by family and friends, a marquee in the garden with perfect weather. You captured every magical moment and wrapped up the day in our photo album to remember forever.
When I met you at the wedding fair I immediately fell in love with the way your photographs were relaxed and caught the essence of the occasion. Our pre-date photo session was a real treat for us and using one of those pictures for guests to sign on the anniversary day was an inspired idea.
Everyone was so impressed at your friendly manner and although after the event we had hundreds of photos to choose from, your presence was almost invisible and unobtrusive. We felt that nothing was too much trouble and felt (hoped) that you enjoyed the day as much as we did.
Our friends have been really amazed by the beautiful pages in our album and gave enjoyed reliving a very special day thanks to your artistic talent.

We had the most fantastic day of our lives & both really enjoyed having all of the photo's done, you and Jon made light work of it and really made us and all of our guests feel at ease.
We just can't get over how quickly the day went, before we had a chance to take anything in, it was bed time. . . . I want to renew our vows so we can do it all over again, although I wouldn't change a thing! I hope you both enjoyed not only taking pics but being part of our wedding.

We already knew Jon as a great photographer as he had taken some family portraits for us so we asked him to capture our wedding day. I came across apple photography advertised on a notice board at my daughters Gymnastics Club and the idea was to have these pictures taken as a present for my partner as I hadn't a clue what to get him for Christmas - this was the perfect solution. The afternoon sitting was relaxed and fun and the children were very well behaved and enjoyed having the attention on them, especially my daughter. We captured some amazing shots. I will definately be recommending Jon to all my friends and family - I can't thank you enough for the photographs - they have pride of place in my home and the memories captured will be remembered for a very long time.

Apple Photography is FANTASTIC! We went to the studio for a family photo shoot. Jon photographed our daughter Caitlin firstly and the shots are SO lovely. Jon was brilliant - he made us feel very relaxed which meant that Caitlin was a happy baby. He took some beautiful shots of her that captured her big blue eyes and her pure soft baby skin. Jon understood the importance of good timing with babies and made sure that he fitted the photo shoot in appropriately with her routine. He also took some great pictures of our older two children, using his friendly personality and some toys to make them laugh and enjoy the experience. We were really pleased when we found that Jon had taken some fab shots of my husband and I as well. In just one session we ended up having a huge array of fantastic photos taken and we can't express enough how happy we are with the final prints. We HIGHLY recommend Apple Photography to anyone! :-)

We used Apple Photography for our sons first birthday party. We wanted to be able to have a record of Teddy's special day and knew that as parents and hosts we would not have time to do this! Jon offered a professional, personal service and was able to take a vast array of photos that really captured the essence of the day. We have finally (only just over 6 months, so not too bad) got round to choosing the photo's for our album. The main problem was you took so many fantastic photos which we have enjoyed going through over and over again that it makes it hard to trim them down! Now that it is several months later it is great to be able to look back at your photo's which perfectly captured all of the main (and minor) parts of the day and caught the mood perfectly. We still get comments on 'what a nice guy the photographer was' and how you were the perfect balance of being part of the wedding and in control without taking over.
