Hampshire Wedding Photography, Morgasten Woods, Sam & Adam

Looked out the window on Saturday Morning, it looked freezing! I texted Sam and Adam to check that they still wanted to go ahead with the shoot, they did, so I put on my thermals, made a flask of coffee and headed off for Morgasten Woods.

The car showed the temperature as -4.5, the sky was clear, the sun was out and I thought to myself that the woods will look beautiful in this weather. I wasn't to be dissapointed, the sun was still low in the sky and in our faces as we walked into the woods, Wow!

This would be a great location for a family lifestyle shoot too, lots of climbing opportunties for the kids.

Sam & Adam were brilliant, they very quicky relaxed and immediatley seemed to be comfortable with the camera.

Surrey Wedding Photography, Lucy & Chris's Pre - Wedding Photography

Lucy and Chris chose Pewley Down in Guildford, Surrey for their pre wedding shoot. They live pretty close to it and it sounds like they spend a fair amount of time relaxing here so it seemed fitting to do the engagement shoot here. If you've not visited Pewley Down before it's certainly worth a visit, it's a beautiful place with spectacular views over Guildford!

They are getting married later this year at Northbrook Park near Farnham in Surrey. Northbrook is one of my favourite local venues  (I'm fortunate enough to have a few weddings to photograph there this year) so I'm really excited to be shooting Lucy and Chris's big day.

Sarah and James' Northbrook Park Wedding Testimonial

We have finally (only just over 6 months, so not too bad) got round to choosing the photo's for our album. The main problem was you took so many fantastic photos which we have enjoyed going through over and over again that it makes it hard to trim them down! Surrey Wedding Photography, Sarah & Ben's Pembroke Lodge Wedding Photography, Richmond, Surrey

This was my last wedding of 2011 and it was great to finish the year with such a fabulous day.

Sarah and Ben were married at St Peter's in Richmond by Father Tim Harwood who was so friendly and helpful. With a 2:00 ceremony and a 4:00 sunset we had to make use of the available light so we did the big group shot in St Peter's straight after the ceremony so his help was really apreciated - Thank you! We then headed up the hill to Pembroke Lodge to do the shots of Sarah and Ben before the sunset.

I also wanted to say a quick thanks to Nelson and his team at Pembroke Lodge for doing a fabulous job and to Dan Neatherway of From the Hip videography for helping me out with the lighting. Looking forward to seeing the video!

London Wedding Photography, Sophie & Simon's Wedding Day, The Chelsea & Kensington Registry Office, The Cheyne Walk Brasserie

I had the very great pleasure of photographing Sophie and Simon's Winter Wedding Day at the Chelsea and Kensington Registry Office and the Cheyne Walk Brassserie on the embankment. After an intimate ceremony with family and friends we walked down to the Cheyne Walk Brasserie for "Sophie and Simon's Wedding Lunch". The Brasserie looked great with all of the rich oranges and reds giving it a great cosy winter feel. Whilst lunch was cooking on the Charcoal Grill Sophie and Simon came for short walk along the embankment with me to take a few shots as the sun was going down.

Hampshire Wedding Photography, Sara & Mark's Elvetham Hotel Wedding, Elvetham, Hampshire

Sara and Mark were married at St Mary's Church in Old Basing, Hampshire before their fabulous reception at the Elvetham Hotel. With it's log fires and beautiful surroundings The Elvetham is the perfect venue for a winter wedding! Sara and Mark had organised a brilliant day, with Fireworks (I love fireworks!), A chocolate fountain, Live Music form Winston in the Piano and Plan B in the evening and lots lots more!

We decided to do the pre-wedding shoot at Pembroke Lodge and Richmond Park before popping down to the church to meet the Vicar. I had the very great pleasure of photographing Carrie & Scott's fabulous wedding day at Northbrook Park near Farnham in Surrey. A little bit of extra pressure for me, as not only is Carrie a close friend but she is also a fabulous photographer.

They had planned a fantastic day at Northbrook with lots of lovely touches and family involvement. Scott's brother did the catering (wow, stunning food!) Auntie Alison sung in the band, Marc Tavener did Caricatures, Devonshire cream Gin & Tonics? Shortbread and Scotch plus lots more!

Surrey Wedding Photography, Lindsay & James' Clock Hall Barn Wedding, Godalming, Surrey

Lindsay got ready at the Manor House Conference Centre which is where my day started, I love shooting the bridal preparations, such a lovely atmosphere and a great opportunity to get to know Lindsay's family.

As we headed off to the Guildford Registry Office for the ceremony the morning had become a gorgeous sunfilled autumn day, you really wouldn't have known it was the end of October! The wedding breakfast was held at Clock Hall Barn near Godalming in Surrey, the venue looked fabulous and again there was a lovely friendly family atmosphere. Champage, canapes and group shots before Lindsay, James and I wandered around the grounds getting a few shots of just the two of them before the wedding breakfast.

Jo & Ant's Cherish the Dress shoot on West Wittering Beach, Sussex

Jo & Ant were married in Cornwall at the beginning of October, they had an absolutely fabulous day but  their wedding pictures (shot by another photographer) didn't live up to the thier expectations. Jo contacted me for some advice and I suggested that they should get dressed up again and head for the beach! So that's what we did! We had a brilliant afternoon on West Wittering Beach and got some lovely pictures.

Surrey Wedding Photography, Jo & Mark's Pre Wedding Photography, Painshill Park, Cobham Surrey

Jo & Mark are getting married next May at Painshill Park near Cobham in Surrey and chose to do the engagement shoot at Painshill too. It's a fabulous venue with a selection of Follies, a Lake, a Vineyard and some beautiful walks so as a photographer I'm spoilt for choice.

Hampshire Wedding Photography, Sara & Mark's pre wedding shoot at The Elvetham Hotel

I met Sara and Mark for their pre wedding shoot on what was a beautiful September evening at the Elvetham Hotel near Hartley Wintney in Hampshire. The Elvetham is a stunning venue but with the evening sun and the autumnal colours it was exceptional.

We had a lovely evening wandering around taking pictures before stopping for a drink to go through all of the details in preparation for the wedding day.

Amy & Max are getting married next year at the beautiful Woodlands Park Hotel in Surrey but they chose Frensham Pond near Farnahm for their engagement shoot. I think they were a little worried about having their picture taken but they soon relaxed and we go some beautiful shots.

St Michael's Manor Wedding Photography, Ruth and Damian's Wedding, St Albans, Hertfordshire

I had a fantastic day photographing Ruth & Damian's wedding day in Herfordshire. They were married at St Mary's in Studham with the reception at the wonderful St Michael's Manor in St Alban's.

I was lucky enough to photograph the Best Man Tony and Sarah's wedding a few weeks ago at GorseHill in Surrey and having met many of the friends at thier wedding, I knew it would be a fun day. I wasn't disappointed!

Ruth and Damian had planned a fantastic day with some lovely details, such as: Welsh cakes and Cornish Pasties after the service.What a great way to highlight the two families links: The photo-booth from Boothstar was brilliant and so funny - everybody seemed to love dressing up and I'd be very surprised if they managed to get all of their props back: The inflatable guitars and saxophones got plenty of use supporting the band.

Hampshire Wedding Photography, Cheryl & Jon's Wedding Photography, The Vyne, nr Basingstoke, Hampshire

Cheryl and Jonathan were married at St Joseph's in Basingstoke, before driving to the Vyne in a beautiful Vintage Austin for the reception. The Vyne is a National Trust property and has to be one my favourite (as well as the closest) local wedding venues. There are just so many wonderful places to shoot, I had to keep  my eye on the time as I could of very easily got carried away photographing Jon & Cheryl around the gardens and grounds.

Cheryl and Jon had organized a beautiful day with lots of lovely touches, the vintage teapots on the tables for the flowers were a fantastic idea and looked gorgeous. The Vyne was built in the days of Henry VIII so instead of the the usual first dance they had booked Tudor musicians and Dancers who got everybody involved!

Brighton Wedding Photography, Lindsay & James' Pre Wedding Photography, Brighton Beach in Sussex

I don't often go as far as Brighton for a Pre-Wedding shoot but James proposed to Lindsay on Brighton Beach so how could I say no!

We met for coffee (thanks Lindsay) quite early before headed off quite promptly for a walk on the beach before it got too busy, what a great way to spend a Saturday morning.

I have to say a huge thank you to the Punch and Judy man for being such a good sport and letting us borrow his Theatre.

Lindsay and James were a pleasure to shoot and I'm really looking forward to their wedding next month at  Clock Barn Hall in Godalming, Surrey.
