Hampshire Wedding Photography, Hannah & Aaron, Morgaston Woods, Basingstoke

Hannah and Aaron chose Morgaston woods for their pre wedding shoot but are getting married in a few weeks time at Rivervale Barn in Yateley, Hampshire. Hannah was a bridesmaid at Lucy and Dan's wedding which I photographed almost exactly 3 years ago at Nortbrook Park so it's a real honour to have the opportunity to photograph her wedding too!

It was a real pleasure meeting up at Morgaston, the weather, for once, was gorgeous and it finally felt like spring in Hampshire!

Hampshire pre Wedding Photography, Rachel & Adam, Morgaston Woods, Basingstoke

Rachel & Adam are getting married at Taplin's Place in Hartley Wintney but chose Morgaston Woods for their pre wedding shoot. We were expecting a few "showers" which we got, but as we reached the furthest point from the car park the heavens opened, I don't think I've ever been so wet without falling in something!

Hampshire Wedding Photography, Hannah & John, The Vyne, Basingstoke

Hannah & John were married at the Vyne in Sherborne St John, a beautiful National Trust venue, Unfortunately their wedding was the very last wedding there for the foreseeable future. In fact, the Vyne had to extend their wedding license for a couple of days for the wedding to take place.

Hannah and John had organized an absolutely fantastic day, perfect as the Vyne's Grand Wedding Finale! From "Primrose" (the car from The Darling Buds of May) to all the hand made garters, from the rubber ducks to the wigwam, there were so may wonderful details. The only thing that that they hadn't planned for was the British Weather, it poured down, but we managed to the group shots outside by running out of the wig wam between the showers. It was in fact very entertaining and certainly made the day even more memorable.

Hampshire Wedding Photography, Lynne & Ricky, The Hampshire Court Hotel, Basingstoke

I'd been looking forward to Lynne & Ricky's weddding, and I wan't to be disappointed. It was a fabulous day with a fantasic warm friendly atmosphere, loads of fun, and lots of laughing, ( along with a  few tears too!) The wedding was held at the  Hampshire Court Hotel near Basingstoke and I arrived there in the morning to Photograph Lynne getting ready. Their Children were heavily involved in the day as Bridesmaids, Ushers, and Ringbearer and really helped in making it a very special day.

Sam & Adam had planned a fabulous wedding day at Audleys Wood Hotel near Basingstoke in Hampshire. They had obviously put so much thought and effort into planning every detail and some lovely personal touches. I spent a couple of hours with Hannah and John at Morgeston Woods for their pre wedding shoot and what a lovely morning it was. Haven't seen much sunshine recently so it was a real pleasure wandering round such a beautiful place taking pictures! Hannah and John are getting married in a couple of weeks time at the Vyne so Morgeston seemed a very fitting place to do the shoot and the Vyne can be seen in the background in couple of the shots.

Hampshire Pre Wedding Photography, Lynne & Ricky, Fleet Pond

Lynne & Ricky are getting married at the Hampshire Court Hotel in Basingstoke in a couple of weeks time, it sounds like they've got a fantastic day lined up so I'm really looking forward to the wedding day! Hampshire Pre Wedding Photography, Georgie & Richard, Basingstoke Memorial Park

I met up with Georgie and Richard for their pre wedding shoot at The Basingstoke Memorial Park, It's the first time I've visited the park but I'll definitely go back there to shoot again, with the spring flowers, woods and skate park there's lots of variety. I even got asked if they were celebrites when we were doing the shots in the skate park.

Georgie and Richard were a pleasure to photograph and I'm really exited about photographing their wedding at Northbrook Park later this year!

Hampshire Wedding Photography, Cheryl & Jon's Wedding Photography, The Vyne, nr Basingstoke, Hampshire

Cheryl and Jonathan were married at St Joseph's in Basingstoke, before driving to the Vyne in a beautiful Vintage Austin for the reception. The Vyne is a National Trust property and has to be one my favourite (as well as the closest) local wedding venues. There are just so many wonderful places to shoot, I had to keep  my eye on the time as I could of very easily got carried away photographing Jon & Cheryl around the gardens and grounds.

Cheryl and Jon had organized a beautiful day with lots of lovely touches, the vintage teapots on the tables for the flowers were a fantastic idea and looked gorgeous. The Vyne was built in the days of Henry VIII so instead of the the usual first dance they had booked Tudor musicians and Dancers who got everybody involved!

Hampshire Wedding Photography, Sue and Simon's Wedding Day at the Basingstoke Country Hotel

Sue and Simon were married at the Basingstoke Country Hotel near Hook in Hampshire.

My day began at the Hotel taking a few shots with Simon and Sam (his Best Woman), then popped to photograph Sue at home before we all left for the ceremony back at the hotel. We had a fantastic day, Sue looked stunning and Simon certainly cut a dash in his Naval Uniform!

Jo & Vin's Wedding Photography, The Vyne, Bramley, Hampshire

Jo and Vin were married at the Vyne in Sherborne St John, a stunning wedding location which also happens to be my most local venue!

I started shooting the bridal preparations at Jo's Mum's. There was a lovely atmosphere, Jo was so excited, especially when she opened her present from Vin. I really don't think she stopped smiling all day!

I love being a wedding photographer!

What's that got do with shooting Ollie and April you might ask! Well, their Mum and Dad's Wedding was the very first Wedding I ever photographed as the sole photographer. So the fact that they have come back to me to photograph the children is extra special to me!

We had loads of fun with the children running round the woods for an hour and then came back to do a few shots of Ollie in the studio.
