Jo & Ant's Cherish the Dress shoot on West Wittering Beach, Sussex

Jo & Ant were married in Cornwall at the beginning of October, they had an absolutely fabulous day but  their wedding pictures (shot by another photographer) didn't live up to the thier expectations. Jo contacted me for some advice and I suggested that they should get dressed up again and head for the beach! So that's what we did! We had a brilliant afternoon on West Wittering Beach and got some lovely pictures.

Brighton Wedding Photography, Lindsay & James' Pre Wedding Photography, Brighton Beach in Sussex

I don't often go as far as Brighton for a Pre-Wedding shoot but James proposed to Lindsay on Brighton Beach so how could I say no!

We met for coffee (thanks Lindsay) quite early before headed off quite promptly for a walk on the beach before it got too busy, what a great way to spend a Saturday morning.

I have to say a huge thank you to the Punch and Judy man for being such a good sport and letting us borrow his Theatre.

Lindsay and James were a pleasure to shoot and I'm really looking forward to their wedding next month at  Clock Barn Hall in Godalming, Surrey.

Cornwall Wedding Photography, Fuzz & Cress' Wedding day at Polhawn Fort

I had the great pleasure of photographing Fuzz and Cress' wedding day at Polhawn Fort near Cawsands in Cornwall. Polhawn Fort is a fabulous wedding venue situated right on the Cornish coast overlooking it's very own private beach. The views are are spectacular!

The Wedding took place in the gardens under the gazebo, there was a bit of a glitch with the music so "Kev" who happened to have a guitar in the car stepped up and played during the ceremony.

Cress looked stunning and was happy to get her shoes off and head off to the the beach for some champagne, a paddle and a few shots... wow what a way to spend the day!

Dawn & Matt's Brighton Beach Engagement Photography, Sussex

We arranged to meet outside the Grand Hotel on Brighton's seafront to shoot Dawn and Matt's pre wedding pictures. It was cold grey November morning but Brighton Beach offers fantastic locations for photos and we had a great time.

Cat and Grant's Engagement Shoot at Perranporth Beach, Cornwall

I had the very great pleasure of spending the Valentines Day Weekend in Cornwall. Cat and Grant were getting married on Valentines Day at Pencarrow House near Bodmin and we had arranged to do an Engagement shoot on the beach at Perranporth on the Saturday. I drove down from Hampshire on Saturday morning and met up after lunch. It was overcast and freezing but we had a great time, Cat and Grant were very relaxed and soon became accustomed to having their picture taken! 

Here's a small selection of the pictures from the day, I'm currently working on the wedding pictures so look out for those in the next few days too.

Forgot to mention the car! They had booked an Aston Martin DB6 for the wedding which we went to pick up after the shoot so I felt I had to include one shot.

Elaine and Kye's Wedding Photography, Carbis Bay, St Ives, Cornwall

What a difference a couple of weeks makes! On the 7th of February I was photographing a Wedding in Arctic like conditions and here we are on the 21st and it's like a summers day!

I was lucky enough to be booked for the full day for Elaine and Kye's wedding, and due to the distances involved, (St Ives in Cornwall) I went down on the previous day. When I arrived Kye and the groomsmen were off surfing so I tagged along to get some shots.

The Ceremony wasn't till 4:00 pm so I was a little concerned about the failing evening light and having enough time to go for a walk with the Bride & Groom. After talking things through at the planning meeting we decided we would go for a walk immediately after the ceremony, do the big group shot first and then move indoors and use the studio lights for the all of the family shots.

I was delighted with the results and had an absolutely fantastic two days!
