Berkshire Wedding Photography, Michelle & Paul, Englemere, Ascot & The Guildhall, Windsor

I don't normally do this but I met up with Paul and his groomsmen for breakfast at the Lay By Cafe in Wokingham. Paul had done his research and found the 5* cafe in the area and was soon tucking into the "BIG BREAKFAST" before handing out pressies to the boys.

Next stop was the Hilton in Bracknell to photograph Michelle (who looked stunning) and the Girls getting ready before heading to Englemere to catch their Routemaster London Bus to The Guildhall in Windsor with Paul and all of the guests.

I've walked past the Guildhall in Windsor many times but never been lucky enough to have a look inside inside, but what a spectacular place it is. You can feel the history as you walk through its doors and it's a perfect venue for a wedding ceremony!

All aboard the bus again, back to Englemere for the wedding reception. It was a gorgeous afternoon and loads of fun. Paul and Michelle had organized a brilliant afternoon and their sense of fun and happiness really set the tone for the day.

Hampshire Pre Wedding Photography, Hannah & John, The Vyne, Basingstoke

I spent a couple of hours with Hannah and John at Morgeston Woods for their pre wedding shoot and what a lovely morning it was. Haven't seen much sunshine recently so it was a real pleasure wandering round such a beautiful place taking pictures! Hannah and John are getting married in a couple of weeks time at the Vyne so Morgeston seemed a very fitting place to do the shoot and the Vyne can be seen in the background in couple of the shots.

Hampshire Pre Wedding Photography, Lynne & Ricky, Fleet Pond

Lynne & Ricky are getting married at the Hampshire Court Hotel in Basingstoke in a couple of weeks time, it sounds like they've got a fantastic day lined up so I'm really looking forward to the wedding day! Hampshire Pre Wedding Photography, Georgie & Richard, Basingstoke Memorial Park

I met up with Georgie and Richard for their pre wedding shoot at The Basingstoke Memorial Park, It's the first time I've visited the park but I'll definitely go back there to shoot again, with the spring flowers, woods and skate park there's lots of variety. I even got asked if they were celebrites when we were doing the shots in the skate park.

Georgie and Richard were a pleasure to photograph and I'm really exited about photographing their wedding at Northbrook Park later this year!

Emma & Robert are getting married in June at in Beech Hill before their reception at Easthampsted Park near Wokingham but chose Emma's home village of Silchester for their pre wedding shoot. It was a pretty damp morning but we still had a great time wandering round the Roman wall.

Hampshire Wedding Photography at Fleet Pond - Karen & Ian

We met up on Saturday morning for Karen and Ian's pre wedding shoot at Fleet Pond Nature Reserve. We were tempted to postpone as the weather was looking pretty bad as we drove over.  Fortunatley the rain stopped as we arrived and the sun even managed to make an appearance. It ended up being very pleasant (and entertaining) morning!

Why entertaining? Despite Karen's requests to explain I really don't think it would be fair on Ian to tell you  about his mishap with the log, but if you have a look at image 6 and the way he's clinging to the log you'll probably get a reasonable idea of what happened! If only I'd caught it on camera!

Hampshire Wedding Photography, Morgasten Woods, Sam & Adam

Looked out the window on Saturday Morning, it looked freezing! I texted Sam and Adam to check that they still wanted to go ahead with the shoot, they did, so I put on my thermals, made a flask of coffee and headed off for Morgasten Woods.

The car showed the temperature as -4.5, the sky was clear, the sun was out and I thought to myself that the woods will look beautiful in this weather. I wasn't to be dissapointed, the sun was still low in the sky and in our faces as we walked into the woods, Wow!

This would be a great location for a family lifestyle shoot too, lots of climbing opportunties for the kids.

Sam & Adam were brilliant, they very quicky relaxed and immediatley seemed to be comfortable with the camera.

Hampshire Wedding Photography, Sara & Mark's Elvetham Hotel Wedding, Elvetham, Hampshire

Sara and Mark were married at St Mary's Church in Old Basing, Hampshire before their fabulous reception at the Elvetham Hotel. With it's log fires and beautiful surroundings The Elvetham is the perfect venue for a winter wedding! Sara and Mark had organised a brilliant day, with Fireworks (I love fireworks!), A chocolate fountain, Live Music form Winston in the Piano and Plan B in the evening and lots lots more!

Hampshire Wedding Photography, Sara & Mark's pre wedding shoot at The Elvetham Hotel

I met Sara and Mark for their pre wedding shoot on what was a beautiful September evening at the Elvetham Hotel near Hartley Wintney in Hampshire. The Elvetham is a stunning venue but with the evening sun and the autumnal colours it was exceptional.

We had a lovely evening wandering around taking pictures before stopping for a drink to go through all of the details in preparation for the wedding day.

Hampshire Wedding Photography, Cheryl & Jon's Wedding Photography, The Vyne, nr Basingstoke, Hampshire

Cheryl and Jonathan were married at St Joseph's in Basingstoke, before driving to the Vyne in a beautiful Vintage Austin for the reception. The Vyne is a National Trust property and has to be one my favourite (as well as the closest) local wedding venues. There are just so many wonderful places to shoot, I had to keep  my eye on the time as I could of very easily got carried away photographing Jon & Cheryl around the gardens and grounds.

Cheryl and Jon had organized a beautiful day with lots of lovely touches, the vintage teapots on the tables for the flowers were a fantastic idea and looked gorgeous. The Vyne was built in the days of Henry VIII so instead of the the usual first dance they had booked Tudor musicians and Dancers who got everybody involved!

Sue and Simon were married at the Basingstoke Country Hotel near Hook in Hampshire.

My day began at the Hotel taking a few shots with Simon and Sam (his Best Woman), then popped to photograph Sue at home before we all left for the ceremony back at the hotel. We had a fantastic day, Sue looked stunning and Simon certainly cut a dash in his Naval Uniform!

Hampshire Wedding Photography, Selina and David's wedding photography at Highfield Park, Hook, Hampshire

I had a fabulous day shooting Selina and David's wedding day at the beautiful Highfield Park in Heckfield, Hampshire. The day started at Selina's parents photographing them all getting ready. It was great to meet and get to know the family before driving to Highfield Park for the ceremony. Cars seem to be a bit of a passion with most of the family, this became apparent when a Bentley arrived for Selina and David arrived in 1950's Mustang! The day was emotional and loads of fun with so many little touches from the bride and groom, family and friends that made the day unique and very special. I've never seen "Lobster adoption" as a wedding favour before either....

Susan and Simon are getting married in a few weeks at the Basingstoke Country Hotel, but chose to do the pre wedding shoot in the Micheldever woods. I hadn't been there before so was totally blown away by the bluebells, I've ever seen so many, they were absolutley beautiful! I'll definitley be going back to shoot here again so thank you.

Chloe and Matt are getting married a month from today in Bradford on Avon. We met up at Fleet Pond Nature reserve for the pre-wedding shoot.

I think it's fair to say that Chloe was pretty nervous about the being photographed.... I promised her that "by the time we are finished I'm sure you'll be wondering what you were nervous about".  I felt that she relaxed and if she was nervous I certainly couldn't tell and the pictures look lovely!

Hampshire Wedding Photography, Selina & David's Pre-wedding shoot at Highfield Park, Heckfield

The weather hasn't been kind to me lately and Selina and David's pre-wedding shoot at Highfield Park in Heckfield was no exception. It was cold with a constant drizzle!

Despite the weather we had a lovely morning, Selina and David are great company and quickly relaxed and got over their initial nerves.

Jasmine & Steve's Wedding Photography, Esseborne Manor, Andover, Hampshire

Jas and Steve were married at Esseborne Manor in Hurstbourne Tarant near Andover, an "invitingly snug" country hotel situated on the North Wessex Down.

I arrived in the morning to Photograph Jas getting ready with her Mum & Bridesmaids. The Champagne and Chocolates were opened and there was a lovely atmosphere which really set the tone for the day.

Just after dinner we were treated to some late afternoon sunshine so we thought we'd make the most of it. Jasmine, Steve and I popped out for a few more pictures in the sunset!

Jo & Vin's Wedding Photography, The Vyne, Bramley, Hampshire

Jo and Vin were married at the Vyne in Sherborne St John, a stunning wedding location which also happens to be my most local venue!

I started shooting the bridal preparations at Jo's Mum's. There was a lovely atmosphere, Jo was so excited, especially when she opened her present from Vin. I really don't think she stopped smiling all day!
