Hampshire Family Photography, Cath, Frazer & Family, Mortimer

Hampshire Family Photography, Mortimer

I love doing lifestyle family shoots  and photographing Cath, Frazer and their fabulous kids reminded me why. Whilst they're playing it really lets their personalities shine through. There are no forced smiles here, well okay, maybe a couple:)  and I got the impression the whole family enjoyed running around nearly as much as I did (Cath?).

Here's a selection of images from our Hampshire lifestyle family photography shoot.

Surrey Newborn Photography, Alfie

Surrey Newborn Photography

I photographed Sarah and Ben's fabulous winter wedding day in December 2011 at Pembroke Lodge, so it was extra special to receive a call from Ben asking if I could fit in photographing their newborn baby boy Alfie "this week". I arrived pretty much at Alfie's feed time so I got started straight away and took a few pictures of him and his mum having his milk and a cuddle. I just love the way he stares right into his mum's eyes! His lunch made him very sleepy so we put his hat on and carried on taking more pictures.

Here's a few images from the session:

Hampshire Wedding Photography, Chloe and Matt's pre - wedding Photography at Fleet Pond, Hampshire

Chloe and Matt are getting married a month from today in Bradford on Avon. We met up at Fleet Pond Nature reserve for the pre-wedding shoot.

I think it's fair to say that Chloe was pretty nervous about the being photographed.... I promised her that "by the time we are finished I'm sure you'll be wondering what you were nervous about".  I felt that she relaxed and if she was nervous I certainly couldn't tell and the pictures look lovely!

The Somerville Family, Hampshire Portrait Photography, Selborne

Driving over to Selborne on Saturday afternoon with torrential rain seeming to follow us, we were in 2 minds whether to postpone the photo session. I'm so glad we didn't, Selbourne is a beautiful location and a fantastic place for a walk (a great pub too!). We had a great afternoon wandering around and were treated to some spectacular rainbows at the end of the day.

The Thatcher Family, Pamber Forest Lifestyle Photography

I had a lovely morning with Polly and her two children wandering round Pamber Forest taking pictures. Unfortunately, not everything went quite to plan! Her little boy had a bit of a mis-hap and coverered his new white shorts in "thick ooozy mud". Polly took all this very well, and I hope that she's not to cross with me for talking her into shooting a lifestyle session!

Here's a few of the picture we took, including the muddy shorts. There's a few more coming too as we have since shot a studio session with Dad.

The Clark Family, Silchester Lifestyle Portrait Photography, Hampshire

I spent a gorgeous Saturday morning with the Clark family at the Silchester Roman ruins. I had a fantastic time running around photographing the children. They were so well behaved and seemed to enjoy it as much as I did!

I took loads of pictures so here's a small preview selection.

April & Ollie's Family Lifestyle Photography, Bramley, Basingstoke, Hants

I love being a wedding photographer!

What's that got do with shooting Ollie and April you might ask! Well, their Mum and Dad's Wedding was the very first Wedding I ever photographed as the sole photographer. So the fact that they have come back to me to photograph the children is extra special to me!

We had loads of fun with the children running round the woods for an hour and then came back to do a few shots of Ollie in the studio.

Here's a small selction of the shots from the woods, I'll post a couple form the studio session later on in the week:

Susanne and Mick's Pre Wedding Photography, Silchester, Hampshire

Susanne and Mick are getting married on the weekend at the Regency Park Hotel in Thatcham. We me up on a lovely summers evening for the pre wedding shoot at Pamber Forest and combined it with a trip to the Calleva Arms in Silchester for the Wedding planning meeting. Susanne and Mick are very relaxed and a pleasure to photograph so I'm looking forward to their wedding on the weekend.

See you Saturday!!!

Julia & Steve's Engagement Photography at The Oakley Court Hotel, Windsor, Berkshire

Julia and Steve are getting married in June at St Michael's in Bray and the Oakley Court Hotel: A gorgeous country house Hotel in the Victorian Gothic style, situated on the banks of the River Thames between Maidenhead and  Windsor in Berkshire. Julia and Steve quite understandibly chose to do their engagement shoot at the Oakley Court, with it's riverside walks and ornate gardens it makes a great location for photography.

Here's a preview of the pictures:

Wedding Photographer Required

May need a wedding photographer! 2030
My little girl announced some time ago that she's going to get married, the wedding plans have now moved on a little!
The wedding is going to be in Scotland (she likes "scotlish"), her dress is going to have pink and green stripes and they are going to have 17 children.
I did the pre-wedding shoot for them the other day, they chose to dress as fairies and run round the garden in wellies!

Northbrook Park, Lucy & Dan's Engagement Photography at Fleet Pond

After a few wet and misty shoots the weather has been very kind to me recently, the last 4 weddings and 3 engagement shoots have all been on beautiful spring days. Sunday was no exception and it was a real pleasure and loads of fun to be out shooting with Lucy and Dan at Fleet Pond Nature reserve. They very quickly got into the swing of things, and at times, there was just no stopping them (as you can see from the last pic)!

The wedding is at the end of May at Northbrook Park near Farnham in Surrey. Northbrook is an absolutley gorgeous venue and I'm really excited at the prospect of photographing Lucy and Dan's Wedding day.

They have also very kindly PROMISED to buy me a drink for my Birthday which is the same day as the Wedding ..... Thank you!

Dan & Dani, Engagement Shoot In Windsor, Berkshire

Dan & Dani are getting married in May at the Taplow House Hotel near Maidenhead in Berkshire. They chose Windsor for their engagement shoot, so we met up on the Long Walk on a beautiful Saturday morning and wandered up through Windsor shooting as we went.

I'm sure Dan and Dani won't mind me saying this, but they were pretty nervous and didn't initially feel particularly comfortable in front of the camera. Infact I think I'd go as far to say that they are the most nervous couple I've shot for some time, but they did brillianty! We had great morning and they soon found out that it's not so hard having your picture taken. I'm pretty sure that they both feel a whole lot more relaxed being photographed now.

This is one of the main reasons why I include an engagement shoot in all of my packages. If you are nervous it gives you a chance to find out how easy it is to relax in front of the camera before the wedding day.

Here's a small selection of the pictures:

Daniel & Kylie Family Portrait shoot near Silchester, Hampshire

I had the very great pleasure of photographing Daniel and Kylie and their family in a "Life Style" family shoot at Pamber Forest near Silchester. As well as the 2 children, the Grandparents and Auntie Beryl came along! We did some family group shots along with lots of the children running around the woods and having fun in the mud.

Despite getting covered in mud, I had an absolutley brilliant time and am looking forward to presenting the images to the family in the next few days.

Jane, Chris and Family Lifestyle Photography at Hungerford Marshes, Berkshire

I met Jane, Chris and the girls on a cold, frosty Saturday morning. They chose Hungerford Marshes for their portrait photography not just because it's a beautiful location, but it also gives the pictures context. They spend so much time her with the children and walking the dogs too they thought it would be lovely to have a record of their time here.

Despite getting a wet foot in the river I had a great time so thank you for a lovely morning!!

Here's a small selection of the shots:
