Sam & Adam's Engagement Photography, Chiswick House, Chiswick, London

I met Sam and Adam for their engagement shoot one evening last week at Chiswick House, after they had finished work. What a stunning venue, I hadn't been before but will certainly go again.

Sam and Adam booked after been refered to me by a couple who's wedding I photographed last year (thanks Sarah and Steve) and are getting married at the gorgeous Orleans House in Twickenham.

Sam & Russ's Wedding Photography, Marlborough Town Hall, Wiltshire

I had a fantastic day last week photographing Sam and Russ's Wedding. The Ceremony was at the Marlborough Town Hall, Wiltshire and then back to Sam's Mum's house for a garden reception. The wedding was a family affair with only 11 guests (including Sam and Russ) which made the day extra special!

Jo & Vin's Engagement Photography at Fleet Pond Nature Reserve, Fleet, Hampshire

Jo & Vin  are getting married in September at The Vyne, Sherborne St John near Bramley in Hampshire. The Vyne is a gorgeous National Trust 16th Century Country House set in the Hampshire countryside and is a stunning wedding venue.

We decided on Fleet Pond Nature reserve for the pre-wedding shoot, and depite the frequent, very loud fly-overs from Farnborough Air Show, we had a lovely morning strolling through the woods, chatting and taking pictures. We even had an "Extra" joining in for some of the shots in the stream!

Janette & Matt, Engagement Photography at Horniman Museum Gardens in Dulwich, London

Janette and Matt are getting married in October at Oak Farm, Shirley in Surrey so we met up on Thursday evening for the pre wedding shoot at The Horniman Museum Gardens in Dulwich, London. I've not photographed here before but would love to again, it's a beautiful venue and the weather was gorgeous.

Strangely, Dulwich has featured heavily in my schedule recently, on top of Janette and Matt's shoot I photographed  Sam and Russ's (from Dulwich) wedding in Marlborough on Tuesday and I'm shooting a wedding on Saturday at the Dulwich Picture Gallery... Funny how things work out!

Laura & John's Wedding Photography, The Matara Centre, Tetbury, Gloucestershire

Laura and John's Wedding was at the fabulous Matara Centre near Tetbury in Gloucestershire and despite the almost constant rain it was, without doubt, a beautiful day!

The day started for me at the Stonehouse Court Hotel. Laura, her 5 Bridesmaids and Phil had stayed overnight here and were all very busy eating cakes and drinking champagne  when I joined them for some preparation shots. We were the off to the Matara for the Wedding!

The red theme, the Matara and all of the details that Laura and John had plannned (I thought the wedding photography table was a lovely idea) gave plenty of opportunties for some great shots!

The rain interfered with the group shots slightly, so we switched to plan B and shot them under the canopies around the water gardens. The rain stopped (briefly) just after the Wedding Breakfast so Laura, John and I walked through the grounds at dusk to get some extra shots of just the two of them.

Thanks for great day!

Sue & Mark's Wedding Photography at Wasing Park

I had the very great pleasure of photographing Sue and Mark's Wedding Day at Wasing park, Aldermaston, Berkshire. Having shot their engagement pictures here a couple of months ago I was really looking forward to the wedding. Stunning buildings, wonderful gardens and plenty of indoor light offer great opportunities for a wedding photographer.  I wasn't dissapointed, the wedding was fantastic, the weather was beautiful, and it was great to meet Sue and Mark's family and friends.

Danielle & Gavin's Wedding Photography, Leez Priory in Chelmsford, Essex

I had the great pleasure of photographing Danielle & Gavins Wedding at the Beautiful Leez Priory near Chelmsford with talented photographer Hannah MacGregor. Danielle and Gavin had organized a fantastic winter wedding day and as well as getting some fantastic images Hannah and I had a brilliant day!

Congratulations and thank you!

Collette & Matt's Engagement Shoot, Greywell, Nr Hook, Hampshire

I live 20 minutes from here but didn't even know it existed! So I am very grateful to Collette and Matt for introducing me to such a wonderful location. As you can tell from the wellies it was a little muddy underfoot but that just added to the fun of the morning. I'll definitley be coming back here for family walks, engagement shoots and family portrait photography sessions.

It was a beautiful morning and Collette and Matt were an absolute pleasure to shoot with so I'm really looking forward to their wedding in Hartley Wintney in August..... Thank you!

Here's a few of the shots:

Northbrook Park, Lucy & Dan's Engagement Photography at Fleet Pond

After a few wet and misty shoots the weather has been very kind to me recently, the last 4 weddings and 3 engagement shoots have all been on beautiful spring days. Sunday was no exception and it was a real pleasure and loads of fun to be out shooting with Lucy and Dan at Fleet Pond Nature reserve. They very quickly got into the swing of things, and at times, there was just no stopping them (as you can see from the last pic)!

The wedding is at the end of May at Northbrook Park near Farnham in Surrey. Northbrook is an absolutley gorgeous venue and I'm really excited at the prospect of photographing Lucy and Dan's Wedding day.

They have also very kindly PROMISED to buy me a drink for my Birthday which is the same day as the Wedding ..... Thank you!

Dan & Dani, Engagement Shoot In Windsor, Berkshire

Dan & Dani are getting married in May at the Taplow House Hotel near Maidenhead in Berkshire. They chose Windsor for their engagement shoot, so we met up on the Long Walk on a beautiful Saturday morning and wandered up through Windsor shooting as we went.

I'm sure Dan and Dani won't mind me saying this, but they were pretty nervous and didn't initially feel particularly comfortable in front of the camera. Infact I think I'd go as far to say that they are the most nervous couple I've shot for some time, but they did brillianty! We had great morning and they soon found out that it's not so hard having your picture taken. I'm pretty sure that they both feel a whole lot more relaxed being photographed now.

This is one of the main reasons why I include an engagement shoot in all of my packages. If you are nervous it gives you a chance to find out how easy it is to relax in front of the camera before the wedding day.

Here's a small selection of the pictures:

Eliza & Damien's Wedding Photography at St Michaels Manor, St Albans, Hertfordshire

I often get asked about the advantages of having 2 photographers at a wedding so I thought I'd post a couple of previous weddings that I've done with other Photographers.

Eliza and Damien got married at St Michael's Manor in St Albans, a stunning venue with beautiful gardens. They had booked two photographers to cover their wedding day and I was shooting with Hannah McGregor of Funky Photographers. Hannah spent the morning with Eliza photographing the bridal preparations at her parents home. Damien's little boy was the best man so I spent the morning with the two of them while they were getting ready.

While Hannah was organising the group shots I wandered around looking for candid / reportage type shots:

We often shoot with different lenses from various angles and locations, in the shot below I ran round the lake to take advantage of the wonderful reflections whilst Hannah shot from the left:
