Hampshire Wedding Photography, Hannah & Aaron, Rivervale Barn, Yateley

Hannah & Aaron were married at the wonderful Rivervale Barn in Yateley in Hampshire. Always a great wedding venue to shoot at but at this time of year Rivervale barn is exceptional. There is so much colour in the gardens it's just beautiful. Flowers played a big part in Hannah and Aaron's day, Hannah's close friend Gregor is a florist and he incorporated flowers from family gardens to give that extra personal touch.

Take a look at the cakes too, instead of a single wedding cake, guests made and contributed about a dozen different cakes, what a fantastic idea!

Hampshire Wedding Photography, Hannah & Aaron, Morgaston Woods, Basingstoke

Hannah and Aaron chose Morgaston woods for their pre wedding shoot but are getting married in a few weeks time at Rivervale Barn in Yateley, Hampshire. Hannah was a bridesmaid at Lucy and Dan's wedding which I photographed almost exactly 3 years ago at Nortbrook Park so it's a real honour to have the opportunity to photograph her wedding too!

It was a real pleasure meeting up at Morgaston, the weather, for once, was gorgeous and it finally felt like spring in Hampshire!

Hannah & Jonny's Wedding Photography, Rivervale Barn, Yateley, The Church of St James, Bramley, Hampshire

I had a fantastic day photographing Hannah and Jonny's wedding day. For me the day started at Hannah's parents house photographing Hannah, her parents and bridesmaids all getting ready. The atmosphere was lovely and I was made to feel very welcome but I have to confess to being a little nervous, as Hannah's Dad is a great photographer and the house is full of his stunning landscape images!

There were lots of lovely touches that made the day very personel: Hannah had made all of the bridesmaids facinators and her tiara herself, wedding day present from Jonny,  her Mum had made the cake, and a friend had made the table plans, place names etc...

The ceremony was at the Church of St James in Bramley, Hants with the reception at Rivervale Barn in Yateley. It has to be said that the weather wasn't great, the rain started as we left the church and I don't think it stopped for the rest of the day. With purple wellies and white brollies Hannah and Jonny took it all in thier stride and made the most of it! Whilst it wasn't practical to wander too far, Rivervale has some lovely gardens and we carried on regardless!

Hannah & Jonny, Engagement Photography, Elvetham Heath, Fleet, Hampshire

Hannah and Jonny are getting married in a few weeks time so I popped over one evening last week to shoot their engagement shoot on Elvetham Heath. We also spent an hour afterwards going through the details of the wedding day. They are getting married the Church of St James in Bramley and are having their reception at Rivervale Barn in Yateley, Hampshire, a fantastic new barn wedding venue set on the banks of the River Blackwater.

Favourite Venues - Rivervale Barn

I'm booked to photograph Hannah and Jonathan's wedding at Rivervale Barn on the borders of Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey in Yateley. I haven't shot here before so popped over on Monday afternoon to have a little look round, introduce myself to the wedding co-ordinator (thanks Olivia) and plan my part of the wedding day.

Rivervale Barn is a fantastic barn wedding venue which was completed last year. It's set in an idyllic location on the banks of the River Blackwater.

The development has been finished to an exceptionally high standard to provide chic modern facilities in harmony with the charm and character of Mill Farm and the surrounding countryside.

From a photographers point of view the barn is excellent with huge windows allowing natural light to flood the ceremony and reception areas, beautifully kept cottage style grounds.
