There was so much to look forward to with Mithi & Chris' Wedding Day, 180 guests, a church ceremony, a Hindu ceremony, Saree's, Goan Curry for the wedding Breakfast, Cocktails, Hog Roast, a fab band... Plus Mithi and Chris had done so much themselves. They had made all of the invitations, brownies for after the church, "Lazy Susans" for all the tables, the table centers and a whole lot more. Not only did everything look brilliant but all their touches made it personal and very special.

I met up with Mithi and Chris for their pre wedding shoot at the Winkworth Aboretum. By pure coincidence I've been here twice in nearly as many weeks, and it's amazing how much changes in such a short space of time.The blossoms are out in force now and it looked stunning.

Mithi & Chris have a fantastic wedding day planned at Northbrook Park near Farnham in Surrey and I'm really excited at the prospect of photographing it already.

Surrey Wedding Photography, Amy & Max, Woodlands Park Hotel, Cobham

I had the very great pleasure of photographing Amy and Max's fabulous wedding day at the Woodlands Park Hotel near Cobham in Surrey. The week hadn't started too well for Amy & Max, not only had their little boy Harry, had been ill for most of the week but one of the flower girls had fallen out of a tree and her resulting broken arm was in bright pink plaster! Someone came up with idea of wrapping it in matching purple ribbon so it actually ended up looking great.

Surrey Wedding Photography, Karen & Damien, Winkworth Aboretum

I think it was Damien's Dad who had suggested Winkfield Arboretum near Godalming for their pre wedding shoot to them.  It's a fabulous place for photography so I was very happy to spend a fantastic Sunday morning wandering through the trees and round the lake photographing Karen and Damien. They are getting married in June this year at Pennyhill Park near Bagshot in Surrey, another beautiful location and, weather permitting, they'll be getting married in the Hotel Gardens.

If you've not visited Winkfield  before, then go. It's such a beautiful place to visit at any time of year but especially in spring as the spring flowers and blossoms are absolutely stunning!

Hampshire Pre Wedding Photography, Georgie & Richard, Basingstoke Memorial Park

I met up with Georgie and Richard for their pre wedding shoot at The Basingstoke Memorial Park, It's the first time I've visited the park but I'll definitely go back there to shoot again, with the spring flowers, woods and skate park there's lots of variety. I even got asked if they were celebrites when we were doing the shots in the skate park.

Georgie and Richard were a pleasure to photograph and I'm really exited about photographing their wedding at Northbrook Park later this year!

Surrey Wedding Photography, Lucy & Chris's Pre - Wedding Photography

Lucy and Chris chose Pewley Down in Guildford, Surrey for their pre wedding shoot. They live pretty close to it and it sounds like they spend a fair amount of time relaxing here so it seemed fitting to do the engagement shoot here. If you've not visited Pewley Down before it's certainly worth a visit, it's a beautiful place with spectacular views over Guildford!

They are getting married later this year at Northbrook Park near Farnham in Surrey. Northbrook is one of my favourite local venues  (I'm fortunate enough to have a few weddings to photograph there this year) so I'm really excited to be shooting Lucy and Chris's big day.

Sarah and James' Northbrook Park Wedding Testimonial

We have finally (only just over 6 months, so not too bad) got round to choosing the photo's for our album. The main problem was you took so many fantastic photos which we have enjoyed going through over and over again that it makes it hard to trim them down! Now that it is several months later it is great to be able to look back at your photo's which perfectly captured all of the main (and minor) parts of the day and caught the mood perfectly. We still get comments on 'what a nice guy the photographer was' and how you were the perfect balance of being part of the wedding and in control without taking over. Surrey Wedding Photography, Sarah & Ben's Pembroke Lodge Wedding Photography, Richmond, Surrey

This was my last wedding of 2011 and it was great to finish the year with such a fabulous day.

Sarah and Ben were married at St Peter's in Richmond by Father Tim Harwood who was so friendly and helpful. With a 2:00 ceremony and a 4:00 sunset we had to make use of the available light so we did the big group shot in St Peter's straight after the ceremony so his help was really apreciated - Thank you! We then headed up the hill to Pembroke Lodge to do the shots of Sarah and Ben before the sunset.

I also wanted to say a quick thanks to Nelson and his team at Pembroke Lodge for doing a fabulous job and to Dan Neatherway of From the Hip videography for helping me out with the lighting. Looking forward to seeing the video!

Northbrook Park, Carrie & Scott's Wedding Day

I had the very great pleasure of photographing Carrie & Scott's fabulous wedding day at Northbrook Park near Farnham in Surrey. A little bit of extra pressure for me, as not only is Carrie a close friend but she is also a fabulous photographer.

They had planned a fantastic day at Northbrook with lots of lovely touches and family involvement. Scott's brother did the catering (wow, stunning food!) Auntie Alison sung in the band, Marc Tavener did Caricatures, Devonshire cream Gin & Tonics? Shortbread and Scotch plus lots more!

Surrey Wedding Photography, Lindsay & James' Clock Hall Barn Wedding, Godalming, Surrey

Lindsay got ready at the Manor House Conference Centre which is where my day started, I love shooting the bridal preparations, such a lovely atmosphere and a great opportunity to get to know Lindsay's family.

As we headed off to the Guildford Registry Office for the ceremony the morning had become a gorgeous sunfilled autumn day, you really wouldn't have known it was the end of October! The wedding breakfast was held at Clock Hall Barn near Godalming in Surrey, the venue looked fabulous and again there was a lovely friendly family atmosphere. Champage, canapes and group shots before Lindsay, James and I wandered around the grounds getting a few shots of just the two of them before the wedding breakfast.

Surrey Wedding Photography, Jo & Mark's Pre Wedding Photography, Painshill Park, Cobham Surrey

Jo & Mark are getting married next May at Painshill Park near Cobham in Surrey and chose to do the engagement shoot at Painshill too. It's a fabulous venue with a selection of Follies, a Lake, a Vineyard and some beautiful walks so as a photographer I'm spoilt for choice.

Surrey Wedding Photography, Amy and Max's pre - wedding photography at Frensham Pond, Surrey

Amy & Max are getting married next year at the beautiful Woodlands Park Hotel in Surrey but they chose Frensham Pond near Farnahm for their engagement shoot. It's certainly a beautiful place to spend a Saturday morning taking pictures. I think they were a little worried about having their picture taken but they soon relaxed and we go some beautiful shots.

Farnham Wedding Photography, Carrie & Scott's Pre Wedding photography, Frensham, Surrey

Carrie & Scott are getting married in November at Northbrook Park near Farnham in Surrey and I have to admit that I'm actually a little scared! Carrie is a wedding photographer too and a vey good one at that, which always adds a little extra pressure.

John & Bea were married at the beautiful St Laurence's Church in Seale, Surrey followed by a fabulous reception at John's Parents home.

When I first met John and Bea there were so much to do with the gardens and house that they were quite concerned that it may not all be ready in time for the wedding. They needn't have worried. The gardens were stunning! All the planning and effort from John, Bea, family and friends resulted in an explosion of color and texture. The marquee was dressed with a black and white theme and looked fantastic.

Northbrook Park, Sarah & James' Wedding Day

It never ceases to amase me how many new original and ideas bride & grooms come up with to make their wedding day individual and personal. It's one of the many reasons why I love being a wedding photographer!  Sarah and James' Wedding day at the wonderful Northbrook Park near Farnham in Surrey was no exception. They had decided on a Monoply theme for the tables and had produced a customised Monoply board as the table plan with each of the tables taking on a street name. To continue the theme a pack was handed out to each table with a "Chance" card, whoever was named on the card had to put on the contents of the pack (chef's hat and apron) and carve their tables joint of beef, have a look at the pictures and you'll get the idea. What agreat way to get everybody involved!

Surrey Wedding Photography, Ruth & James' Wedding Day at Pembroke Lodge

Ruth & James' Wedding Day was my First wedding of 2011 and what a fantastic way to start the year. It was a lovely ceremony at their local church, The Holy Trinity, on Twickenham Green, followed by a reception at Pembroke Lodge. Ruth looked absolutely stunning and the purple colour scheme coupled with all of the candles & candelabras looked fantastic.

Surrey Wedding Photography, Ruth & James' Pre-Wedding shoot on Twickenham Green

Ruth & James are getting married this week at The Holy Trinity, on Twickenham Green with the reception afterwards at Pembroke Lodge.
