Beaumont Wedding Photography, Old Windsor

I had the very great pleasure of photographing Emma & Alex's Wedding day. The ceremony was St Nicholas' Church in Shepperton before heading to Beaumont House, (a stunning wedding venue in Old Windsor, I love the chapel) for their wedding reception. Emma's sister was originally expecting her first baby actiually on the wedding day, fortunately for all concerned he decided to arrive a couple of days early and, they both got home in time to make it to the wedding!

Please take a few moments to browse through a small selection of the pictures for Emma & Alex's Beaumont house wedding day:

Bearwood College Wedding Photography, Anna & Jay, Wokingham, Berkshire

Berkshire Wedding Photography, Bearwood College Wedding

It's always lovely to go back to Bearwood, but it makes it even better when it's for a fabulous winter wedding. All the oak panelling and fireplaces just seem right on a cold December day. It was cold too, we had to spread the group and Mr & Mrs shots out a little as poor Anna was freezing, we ended up doing a few inside too.

The church with all of it's christmas decorations was beautiful, and although it was cold we actually had a some sunshine. Incredibly lucky when you consider the storms we had on either side of the wedding day.

Some lovely personal touches during the ceremony and reception, but I particularly loved the singing. Philipa with her guitar in church then Anna joined her in the evening too...fantastic!!

Here's a preview of some of the images from Anna & Jay's Bearwood wedding photography:

Bury Court Wedding Photography, Stephanie & Ben, Farnham, Hampshire

Hampshire Wedding Photography, Bury Court wedding

Stephanie & Ben were married at St James' in Finchampstead before heeding to the beautiful Bury Court Barn near Farnham in Hampshire. Even though we in November the gardens were still full of colour and texture, making a great backdrop to the wedding photographs. The day had a real cosy feel about it, rich colours, lots of candles, cream teas and of course the hot chocolate and Baileys after dinner! A perfect winter wedding.

Here's a preview of Stephanie & Ben's Bury Court wedding images:

Henri & Matt were married at the Elvetham Hotel near Hartley Wintney in Hampshire. The weather was absolutely freezing, but I don't think I've been to a wedding with more warmth and laughter, particularly from the bride & groom! I'm sure you'll see that, and maybe a few tears in the photographs below. Thanks for a fantastic day!

Cambridgeshire Wedding Photography, Sophie & Tim, Trinity House, Cambridge

Trinity House, Cambridge, Wedding

Sophie & Simon were married at Trinity House in the City Centre of Cambridge on the Saturday before Christmas. It's a beautiful venue steeped in history and culture.

I got into Cambridge pretty early and popped in to Trinity House to see how things were going with Tim who was busy with his 'Team' setting up, before heading to see Sophie who was getting ready at her Mum's in Cambridge.

Cambride City centre is a pedestrian zone during the day so Sophie's taxi had to drop us off 5 minutes walk away from Trinity Hall, it was great seeing the reactions of the christmas shoppers to Sophie as we walked through the busy Cambridge streets.

Surrey Wedding Photography, Sarah & Ben's Pembroke Lodge Wedding Photography, Richmond, Surrey

St Peter's and Pembroke Lodge Wedding Photography

This was my last wedding of 2011 and it was great to finish the year with such a fabulous day.

Sarah and Ben were married at St Peter's in Richmond by Father Tim Harwood who was so friendly and helpful. With a 2:00 ceremony and a 4:00 sunset we had to make use of the available light so we did the big group shot in St Peter's straight after the ceremony so his help was really apreciated - Thank you! We then headed up the hill to Pembroke Lodge to do the shots of Sarah and Ben before the sunset.

I also wanted to say a quick thanks to Nelson and his team at Pembroke Lodge for doing a fabulous job and to Dan Neatherway of From the Hip videography for helping me out with the lighting. Looking forward to seeing the video!

Chelsea & Kensington Registry office & Cheyne walk brasserie wedding

I had the very great pleasure of photographing Sophie and Simon's Winter Wedding Day at the Chelsea and Kensington Registry Office and the Cheyne Walk Brassserie on the embankment. After an intimate ceremony with family and friends we walked down to the Cheyne Walk Brasserie for "Sophie and Simon's Wedding Lunch". The Brasserie looked great with all of the rich oranges and reds giving it a great cosy winter feel. Whilst lunch was cooking on the Charcoal Grill Sophie and Simon came for short walk along the embankment with me to take a few shots as the sun was going down.

I had the very great pleasure of photographing Carrie & Scott's fabulous wedding day at Northbrook Park near Farnham in Surrey. A little bit of extra pressure for me, as not only is Carrie a close friend but she is also a fabulous photographer.

They had planned a fantastic day at Northbrook with lots of lovely touches and family involvement. Scott's brother did the catering (wow, stunning food!) Auntie Alison sung in the band, Marc Tavener did Caricatures, Devonshire cream Gin & Tonics? Shortbread and Scotch plus lots more!

I had been really excited about shooting Hayley and Peter's Wedding & I wasn't disappointed! The sun shone all day, shiplake is a beautiful village and Hayley and Peter's family and friends were lovely.  Music is a big part of their lives and as such, played a big part at their wedding day.  Friends sang in Church during the signing, played the piano as they arrived at the reception, the guitar and singing during the start of the wedding breakfast.  They all contributed in making a fantastic day even more special.

Henley Wedding Photography, Fran and Matt's Wedding Day

I had the great pleasure of shooting Fran and Matt's Wedding at Henley Registry Office in Oxfordshire. Matt and Fran had booked me for just a couple of hours to photograph the ceremony and a few shots of the two of them before they went off for a pub lunch with the family.

It was a bitterley cold day so Morcambe & Wise's "Bring me sunshine" seemed particularly appropriate to walk down the aisle to.

Fran was an absolute star, it was -2.5 centigrade and she was still up for wandering round Henley to get a few shots. I felt guilty in my hat, scarf, coat and gloves whilst she only had her dress and wrap.

Janette & Matt's Surrey Wedding Photography, Oaks Farm, Shirley

I had a great day photographing Janette and Matt's wedding day at Oaks Farm, Shirley, Surrey. There was a lovely atmosphere in the cottage whilst Janette was getting ready. Her Dad had prepared a fantastic breakfast and the champagne was flowing!

There were lots of very personal details but I thought the Sunflowers and South American theme for the tables were brilliant.

Catherine & Grant's Wedding Photography, Pencarrow House, Cornwall

Catherine & Grant chose Valentine's day for their Wedding Day, and as both originate from Cornwall they decided to go home for their Wedding.

Having visited Pencarrow House on the Saturday afternoon and seen the spectacular grounds I couldn't wait to get started. The weather had been a slight concern, we had shot the engagement pictures on the Saturday at Perranporth and whilst the rain had held off it was pretty cold and windy. We needn't have worried, Sunday was a beautiful day!

I arrived at Cat's parents house to do the Bridal preparation shots in the morning and it was like a summers day. Catherine and her bridesmaids looked gorgeous and I knew we'd get some fantastic shots!

My thanks go to Cat and Grant and both their families (particularly Harry!) for making it such a beautiful day.

Elaine and Kye's Wedding Photography, Carbis Bay, St Ives, Cornwall

What a difference a couple of weeks makes! On the 7th of February I was photographing a Wedding in Arctic like conditions and here we are on the 21st and it's like a summers day!

I was lucky enough to be booked for the full day for Elaine and Kye's wedding, and due to the distances involved, (St Ives in Cornwall) I went down on the previous day. When I arrived Kye and the groomsmen were off surfing so I tagged along to get some shots.

The Ceremony wasn't till 4:00 pm so I was a little concerned about the failing evening light and having enough time to go for a walk with the Bride & Groom. After talking things through at the planning meeting we decided we would go for a walk immediately after the ceremony, do the big group shot first and then move indoors and use the studio lights for the all of the family shots.

I was delighted with the results and had an absolutely fantastic two days!

Katharine and Andrew's Wedding Photography, Tylney Hall, Rotherwick, Hampshire

Tylney Hall, Rotherwick, Hampshire

The weather is always a cause for concern at weddings, but it shouldn't be. You can't change it so don't worry about it! In fact get the umbrellas and wellies out and emrace it.

The Bride and Groom did exactly that on this snowy February day in Rotherwick, Hampshire. Katharine put on her bridal trainers and Andrew carried her out into the snow for some beautiful shots. For the group shots we used studio lights indoors and took advantage of the gorgeous wood panelling that makes Tylney Hall such a wonderful venue.
